Kirkpatrick Fergus, MD MAS is a general surgery resident at UCSF and a post-doctoral T32 Fellow in Surgical Oncology working in the Ziv Lab. He is currently in his dedicated research years. Dr. Fergus received his AB in Social Studies at Harvard University graduating with honors, and received his MD from the University of California, San Francisco, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. His research interests include leveraging cancer genetics and epidemiology to improve screening, prognosis and treatment efficacy.
