Elad is a clinician-researcher in the Department of Medicine and affiliated with the Helen Diller Family Comprhensive Cancer Center and the Institute for Human Genetics at UCSF. His research focuses on inherited risk of cancer and genetic determinants of cancer treatment response and leverages concepts from population genetics (e.g. genetic admixture). He also sees patients in the Division of General Internal Medicine at UCSF.
